Martin Committee III The Martin Tenor Saxophone 1951 Silver

Here's a rare horn, up for sale is a Martin Committee III silver-plated tenor saxophone from 1951. The original silver plating on the body is close to 100% and is just gorgeous. The original gold wash bell is also in great condition. The keys are nickel plated, which is something Martin did to increase the durability of the finish since it was meant to be played in parades and concerts for many years. The pads were replaced a few years back with MusicMedic standard leather with domed metal resonators. I just serviced this tenor and the pads are in top playing condition with plenty of life left in them.
